A full color printed catalog is available. Check the exhibition schedule at: http://champlainslakerediscovered.org/venues.html Verve Editions is publishing an art book called The Art of Lake Champlain, which should be available at the end of June, 2009. My painting “Sunset Ridge to Lake Champlain” oil, 2008 30”x60” is included in the book and on the back cover. ART OF ACTION- Shaping Vermont’s Future through Art is a large competitive project that is a combination of private commission and public art. I am one of ten artists charged with creating new work addressing the future of Vermont, and in so doing sparking thought and dialogue about the choices we make to determine the future of our state. The paintings will be completed by August 16, and will then tour the state in various unconventional venues. At the end of the exhibition tour the work will be put up for auction. Look for it! www.vermontartscouncil.org/Artists/TheArtofAction/ I also have an online journal of my process working on the project which you can see by clicking on the blog link on my homepage.
